Worn Seat Bolster Repair Question

Hi guys,

Currently looking to get back into a Noble after selling my 2.5 a couple of years ago, and I'm looking at a few 3R's at the moment.

One of the cars I'm looking at has pretty worn seat bolsters particularly on the drivers side. Has anyone had their seat bolster's refurbed?? Be interested to know how much if anyone has had this done.

As an aside......anyone know this car ?? Hasn't been serviced or used much since 2006 which makes me bit nervous but it's got a fully stamped history up until then. Looks a nice car from the picys.

Doesn't ring any bells that car, but in fairness the owner must have cared for it if he wanted parking sensors front and rear and a reversing camera!The bolster is very common on the leather 3R seats, nothing too much to worry about.Some have had them retrimmed in Alcantara as it's harder wearing.Looks a bloody good price if all checks out. When I bought both of mine, the factory have been very helpful regarding history when I've given them the chassis numbers.Maybe you could have the seat re-trimmed as part of the deal,if it's say £150 quid retail, then to them it's only 75 quid or so, could be a little deal sweetener? what did you buy when you sold the noble ? what made you come back ?

there is a guy that did the coachwork for the noble cars - i think he is based at bruntingthorpe somebody on here must have his details

pretty much any coachworks will be able to retrim the seats for you

that 3r looks like a good buy !

Depending on where you are, Concept Vehicle Trimmers in Rettendon near Wickford, Essex havea good rep.

Its Martin ( I think he is trimman on here ) He was based just next to the factory but Noble seem to have bought his business and its now inhouse. Not sure if the factory would do it but its worth asking. Martin did some work on my seat a couple of years ago. great job very reasonable

I sold my 2.5 at the time because I needed the cash for a house purchase, but I've had a 348 in the meantime.....felt rather slooow compared to the Noble. Despite me hitting every know issue with the 2.5 (manifolds, gearbox went, diff went, both turbos had to be refurbed), it was a fantastic car on track so time for another one

There's another 3R on topmarques that I'm looking at as well at the moment....blue one for 24K, 20k miles, full service history, stage 3 upgrade.

Had my drivers one done and it was less than £100 from memory. I don't know if that's a good price or not.
