Has anyone heard from these folks when they tried to contact them a few months ago? They seem to try to lay claim for inventing this car. No where on the site have I found mention of the Ultima GTR.

Check out these new records. That would be new records for an Ultima GTR with 1600bhp, correct?

It seems the old records they are breaking are that of the Ultima GTR 720.

At least car and driver gives credit to ultima in their article.

from here:

http://www.autoevolution.com/news/meet-the-world-s...

is them admitting it:

'Well, four years, a lot of money and allegedly a lot of work later, their project is complete and they will even sell it to anyone who can dispose of... wait for it... three million US dollars. A pretty hefty price tag considering the following facts.

The car is actually a British Ultima GTR 720 ex-kit-car which initially had a 0-60 mph time of 2.6 seconds. Kirby scrapped its engine and replaced it with a 434 cubic inch twin-turbocharged Chevrolet V8 that puts out about 2100 hp at the flywheel. He also renamed it Maxximus G-Force.

So, in the end this is just a shed-tuned kit-car whose world record acceleration is attested only by an obscure organization. Is it worth three million bucks? Either the answer, it made Marlon Kirby the fastest limo driver in the world. '

Marlon Kirby is the biggest dope on the planet. The engine was a Nelson Racing Engine twin turbo not developed by Kirby. The cars interior is among the worst designs of an Ultima interior that I have ever seen.
Hey, did you know that the finacier/philanthropist that bankrolled the limo driver on this project married his daughter? LOL it's true!!!

It seems this guy has a twitter page now:

http://twitter.com/MaxximusGForce

and Facebook:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Gluteus-Maxximus/984...

He paraded his car around Dubai looking for a gullible sheikh to purchase (for 3 M?), but came up empty handed. It's funny to see him talk about his "entourage" and how the models couldn't keep their eyes off of him... or did he mean the car. Whatever.

.... ahh... another great story.

Asspeerer and Maxxiumus Bullshiitimus seem to have something in common.

Both are "loosely based on a heavily modified version of a kit car"

I don't know who he or who he thinks he is. But I hope that he don't take us for brainless rich people who would buy anything at any price.
