Gifted Pack Purchase Cars.

I was just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this as i heard assumptions before but am awaiting facts.

If someone purchases say the "December Car Pack" and they gift another player who doesn't have the pack with a car from that pack... Does the 2nd player get the car or do they have to buy the Pack to recieve the car?...

You cant 'gift' DLC cars they can only be auctioned if you want to pass it on.

And if you buy the car with in game credits off the auctionhouse then you don't have to pay with microsoft credits for it?

I would have thought you'd have to purchase the DLC car park first, before you could buy the new cars, either direct from the garage or from the auction house, as i would have thought that Forza won't recognise the DLC cars without having installed the car park prior to purchase.

You cant even see DLC cars in the AH unless you already have the pack downloaded...

Yeah i did think that. If other drivers can't see DLC cars when racing without the pack installed, then i imagined its very unlikely they would even be able to purchase DLC cars from the auction house, let alone search for them..

So what about rare cars such as the Tommi Makkinenenenn.. en... Edition Evo? You can't buy that from the garage. But i know someone who got it off the AH, but I flicked through the DLC and couldn't see that included in a car pack...

If they are included with the original cars in the game, for instance, you have to win them as gifts after a race series, then you can purchase those from the AH, as i have done this a couple of times before, credit-permitting.

Its purely the DLC content that you have to purchase and download, before being able to buy these in the game.

Oh i see, ok. Thanks for clarifying that. Makes sense really, i was just assuming it worked in the same way as the locked or series win gifts, but i understand now.

?? I are you sure mate.. what cars where these..are you sure they where Unicorns...
I've been told by a Turn10 mod on the FM.net website that you users cant moved them its only turn 10's systems..

The latest Trun 10 car given away wasnt a Unicorn (the green saleen) people were reselling them as soon as they received them.
Ones like the Espionage, TME and 25th Anniversary Camaro though I am sure cant be sold on.
I would be interested to know which unicorn you sold as well.
