Though still working for the same company, today is my last day in this job and in this office... what would you PHers do? 7 and a half years with the same bunch of s. Do I tell them the truth? Or maintain the front that I like them?

Maintain a dignified silence - you never know when you might need them again.

Thats pretty much what I plan... but the thought of giving it both barrels has been in the back of my mind for some time.

No point in being an arse just for the sake of it. Be nice to those who merit it and be glad in the knowledge that you wont see anyone who was a dick again.

I would be nice to everybody (world is a very much smaller place than you think !) but would advice others to tell the boss he's an utter arse simply because it would liven up my day smile

College? Does that mean you have access to poster paint? If so, get completely naked, paint a big yellow kids drawing of a sun on your chest and lead them all in a round of "The Sun Has Got His Hat On". If you have white paint too, paint your arse and write "moon" above it.

Never burn your bridges, you'd never know when you'll need someones help, or simply stumble across them in the future. Hang in there for one more day and walk away happy biggrin

A certain bunch of plumbers had a tradition of 'curling one out' in a parts box and then placing it back in the supply cupboard on their last day...

...it was supposed to be a snide dig at their boss - but I very much doubt he was actually the one to ever discover their cardboard-box-pasties!

+1 on the dignified silence, but constructive criticism during the HR exit interview is always acceptable. For some reason, this is given much more weight than exactly the same comments in the Employee Survey type affairs.
