Idiots guide to drifting in Forza

Could anybody either point me in the direction of a guide to which cars to use for drifting and how to set them up or add there thoughts here?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to get a car setup and have a practise in it before making a mess of the drifting sessions that are going on at the moment.

Alot of people have been mentioning that there are drift tunes on forzamotorsport.net for certain cars. My advice would be to have a browse at the free tune set ups on there, have a look at the cars they are specifying and give a few of those a go.

To be honest, as we were discussing last night and a regular subject, its all down to personal choice. Anything thats rear wheel drive and has ample power can drift, it just depends on how its set up and how controllable you like it to be.

My preferences tend to be more torque and a shorter gear ratio, particularly in my Supra. Many people will give different advice as everyone has their own technique. I started with more jap cars than anything, upgraded to S Class and tuned using some tuning guides online. Now ive progressed to a 430 Scud and am messing around with BMWs as well.

Either:

A Read some online guides about the different types of drifting/initiating a drift.

B Go to youtube and Watch the "Drift Bible" by Tamagotchi Yoshimitsu... blassyboo... mitagoshywashy... err... 'San. Full credit to the bloke... he's ace!

You'll find that all the clutch techniques either can't be done or need to be adapted to work on forza unfortunately.

The main types that do work are the Feint, Power Over and Handbrake types.

At least that's my recommendation
