Morning all,

I've taken the week off work to try and get my wedge back on the road for this weekend. Most of the work has been done, and the driveshaft UJs I ordered last week have just turned up.

I've made an amateur mistake and ordered the wrong ones frownfrown (I've ordered large ones, and I've got small UJ driveshafts).

Would anybody within a couple of hours reach of me either have a pair of larger UJ driveshafts, or know of anywhere I can get some smaller UJs? I'm based at J14 of the M25, have car, will travel.

Many thanks,
Chris

I really really wanna drive my wedge again.

I'm happy to be corrected here but I believe the smaller UJs are Jag .. so as has been said - very common.

All good, smaller UJs sourced smile

Also, for anybody else, the smaller UJs (HS166) are the same as the front prop UJs on a land rover series IIA.

Thanks,
Chris

What did you do with the larger ones,
did you manage to get a re-fund.

I've still got the larger ones, will keep them incase I can source larger driveshafts for when these inevitable blow up, unless anybody else is interested in them?

Unfortunately todays progress was marred when I found another dud wheel bearing frown

Why is it a dud?

Any free play can be deleted by tightening the hub nut?
