Honda Civic Type r_ accord engine?

I have recently got my hands on a Honda Civic type r (wedge shape 2002) but it has a blown engine. I have looked at a second hand engine which is 1500+ without fittings. I hope someone can help me on this one, can i put an Accord 2.4 type s or type r instead as they are half the price?
Could anyone give me quotes for engine transplant?
Oh just for luck, anyone selling a type r engine
