Hi guys, had the car detailed yesterday by Tony Spears www.autoshinespecialistvaleting.co.uk
Did a great job, just thought I would post up a few pics. Camera's not the best and doesn't really show the deep shine (and the sun makes the car look a bit pink!)

Only thing is now i daren't drive it!!

Yeah it was a full paint correction, looks awesome in the flesh now!
Price was £350 including engine bay and interior. It is a lot of money for essentially getting your car 'cleaned' but when you see what these guys actually do you realise its worth the money.
Also, it was the first Nob he'd done so he was quite happy about that, although he did say its a very hard car to work on due the the shape and all the curves!

i think it looks great Paul. I don't think that that's too bad a price for the finish either. ;-)

I would, however, feel exactly the same and not want to take it out on a dirty road.

Good effort (if you know what I mean)

unfortunately a good few years ago i got into the concourse thing and was unhealthly morbid and needing therapy over my obsession for paint perfection.i was an avid contributor on the detailing world forums and even went to some of the meets !!!.i still have all the gear and spent a good week detailing the nob when i 1st got it and just spent another week recently doing the same.your car looks great and as you say pictures do never show the effort taken.350 pounds to detail is a very good price also

I wish I eart £350 a day.

Not a bad wage in a credit crunch.

YEs its hard work and yes the results are great, but just a few years back people would do this for just over £100

now some charge £1000 a day to polish your car and £350 seems the going rate on average.

im not sure that it was all done in a day.the only thing i know is when i was asked to detail a car it took me the best part of 4 to 5 days charging 100 pounds per day plus materials

Paul glad you were happy with the results, and thankyou for letting me loose on your toy.
I also have a detailing bay in Wakefield if anyone is interested.
