Sports Exhaust for 355
Discussion
We have just swapped around sports exhausts on my mates F355 GTS. Both boxes looked identical but I couldn't believe the difference in the tone.
Its gone from a deep almost 430 noise to a proper screemer like a 355 should be - flames and everything !!!
The same guy can do the same system for 348s and aparently they sound better than a Tubi !
I'll hopefully get some videos up soon.

I think the De Cats are what makes a Ferrari spit the flames - My 348 didn't until i put test pipes in.
We were out in the 355 last night and we were told it flames on most high rpm upshifts and quick downshifts.
£300 for De Cats !!!! ????
PM me and I will give you some details on who to contact for De Cats.

Surely a de-cat is just a straight-through pipe so it should be relatively cheap.
The problem with de-catting is that it unfortunately increases your emissions so you may have problems there come MOT-time (although you can always just re-install a cat for the test). Not sure about problems with warning lights...

Bear in mind though that de-catting a car may throw a check engine light
.
On a 348:
.If you do just disconnect the lambda sensor plug and tape it neatly somewhere. It is usually this that sends confusing messages to the ECU if it is left connected to the test pipe when de-catted.
You WILL have problems at MOT time though.

Also, it's not the Lambda sensor you need to disconnect but the cat temperature sensors.
