Wine is the way forward.
Avoids needing a chiller and a creating a wine mountain is much better than having to drink your way through 400 bottles of 1% biere du piss.
Creating a wine mountain is really, really hard work, we tried it last year, three bottles each a day was the minimum requirement to acheive a mound, it looked bloody pathetic to be honest, but it was worth the effort :-)Avoids needing a chiller and a creating a wine mountain is much better than having to drink your way through 400 bottles of 1% biere du piss.
From Arnage, north into town on the dual carriageway until you get to a roundabout (ignoring the first couple before you get to the main dual carriageway) at the end of a mile straight and you'll see the Yoplait tower in front of you. Left there and pass the Audi/VW dealership on your right. Cross the rainbow coloured bridge and Leclerc is on your right. Straight on at the roundabout to the next lights. Hang a right and on the first corner on your left is a place called V&B. Now they are so well equipped they even have a bar and about 300 types of beer! But I get all my wine supplies there and have done for years despite trying other places. For 5 euros you get a very good bottle.
Not quite sure what you mean but I don't think so. They have up to 15 litre boxes of red, rosé and white though! There are wines and spirits at all prices, but if you go to the back of the shop on the floor near the wine racks you will usually find the affordable wines in boxes and some bordeaux in the left hand racks.
Incidentally, it is 27C here at the moment (11am your time) and blue sky. Hope you like your wine well warm!

Anyone tried making a Port mountain??
Yes. It's heavy going, but excellent overnight by camp fire drinking. Cheap Sandeman (if you can find the special/reserve versions, save your money) is our Port of choice from Carrefour (yes we did clear them out last year, though probably not just us).lowdrag said:
Hope this comes out alright.

The main road bottom right is coming up from Arnage. The coordinates of the shop are:-
47 deg. 58 mins. 24.54 secs North, 0 deg. 09 mins. 12.46 secs East. Route des Fondus.
Hope this helps
Hi Lowdrag, also on your map is Le Clerc supermarket. Is it any good ? we have used the Carrefour and the small supermarket in Arnage. Is this one any better than them ? Thanks mate !
