Have seen two Seiko Monsters, one with the orange face the other with a yellow face.

Like both.

The orange is at £160 and the yellow at £200.

Are these good prices? Really not sure which one to go for confused

Yellow monsters were a limited edition of 300.

Oranges are 10 a penny, comparitvely speaking. If the yellow one is a legit yellow (and not a refaced standard monster) it would be the better buy, but it depends on if you're gonna wear it or look at it!

Also, here is a link to a UK resident orange monster, bit cheaper than you're looking at smile

Thanks Fred. It would appear the yellow face is a Kinetic divers watch not a monster.

Still confused though smile

Kinetic should be a quartz then, the monster should be an automatic.

Kinetic will be better for timekeeping, but not as "pure" as the automatic (in watchmaking terms, being that the automatic is a real moving cogs/ticking clock type of fashion)

It's down to personal preference really.

I think the red and yellow monsters ( which have a cyclops lens) had sapphire glass rather than Seiko's hardlex glass.

The day comes in two languages - anyone know what 2nd language was used in the Thai limited editions ?

I've bought an Orange monster recently . ( If I bought the Black, I know I'd be still hankering for the Orange). I live in Hong Kong - the 2nd language is Roman numerals.

Went for a black monster in the end. Looked at the orange and it just didn't feel as heavy or chunky as the black one I bought.

Very happy with it smile

Just got an Orange myself, not actually as big as I was expecting - a good thing to be honest. Build seems great as expected. Just adjusted the bracelet by myself too! smile

..Hope the black is what you are expecting, if I can find the 'spare' cash I want to get a black' on rubber.

Love it.

Am tempted to see what strap options there are for it too.
