new sagaris

I thought I would post a few pictures of the new Sagaris at STR8six that Jason invited me to detail for him. If anyone has seen it - hope they liked it (I do !!)

If anyone has seen it - I would appreciate feedback on what they thought.

I saw both brand new sags at Str8Six when i was there a few weeks back. The blue one was still very much a shell when i was there but the red one looked amazing. I think it has a brand new 4.0 supercharged engine, with over 500hp.

The Sagaris is simply a stunning car,

Ive always liked it but It has really grown on me in the last 6 months or so.

I've never really thought about it but the Sag must be a bh to clean with all those nooks and crannies!

Just like sharing the shower with the Mrs, scrubbing the nooks and crannies is the best bit!

Hi Toobin do you mean the car or the detailing !

The red one is not supercharged but is high spec with many updated parts. Price similar to that of the last factory Sagaris.

The blue one will be supercharged and Jason of Str8six may keep it for himself as that car will be very special. Can't wait to detail that when it is finished. I think there is more detail on their website.

Interesting that the pink one has the side facing exhausts rather than rear facing. Jason obviously agreed with everyone else and thought that these look much better.

Difficult to see in the pics, but has it got the one piece bonnet?

How will he be registering the car, because technically it hasn't been built by TVR.

Mine has side facing exhausts and was not finished at the factory either and a two piece bonnet. The Sag two was not actually relased I beleive when the factory shut so thats why there is only 2 or so sagaris 2's

Hi Marcus - as a guide between £150 and £200 but it depends on several things such such as what condition the paint is in etc. Its only a part time hobby (sad I know) and I am passionate about these cars (have had 8 TVRs !!). I spent about 17-20 hours on the Sagaris doing everything by hand. In the sunlight it did look stunning.

As for the discsiion on colour - the red Sagaris is a one off - a unique colour and the only TVR painted in that colour. In some light it reminded me of a paler Rosso Pearl - in other light there is a pinkiness to the red (but it is not a pink car).

It does not have the one piece bonnet - its a "stanadrd" Sagaris body shell.

Didn't HCC also finish off a 'Sassberry' coloured Sagaris last year as well?

There was a Pink Sag for sale last year (Sassberry). HHC (Drivestyle) did advertise it, but not sure if it sold.

Geoff, is being colour blind a problem when doing paint corection etc
