Any Ph'er living near Glasgow able to do me a small favour?

The situation is my Sports/Trophy business deals with a sports goods firm/importers in Glasgow, which we have been dealing with for many many years without problems...

Since around January we have not been able to contact them, the phone has just kept ringing, and they have not answered any letters, so I assumed they had shut down..

However, about two months ago, I managed to get through to the boss, and he explained they were doing a lot of reorganising, and were also having trouble with their phone lines on the industrial estate where their factory was...

Fair enough, I gave him an order, and it came out of the blue three weeks later, when I had all but given up hope, but an invoice has never turned up, this usually came the next day.....Very strange....

I have rung BT, they say it is now a spare line, they are not answering letters, or e-mails so:-

I was wondering if any PH'er's who live locally, would mind popping round, just to see if the place is still trading/boarded up etc.....My usual contact is called Aftab......

Was, as expected, down that way today and the factory looked shut, but the office appeared to be open with the shutters up and a couple of cars in the car park.

I work just round the corner from that place, its about 10 minutes from my house, I drive past their office every day. Its looked fairly shut for the last wee while.

Sorry, I have not replied, been out all weekend.....

Would be great if someone could maybe tap on the door, ask if Aftab is in, and if so ask him to ring Alan at Bury, tel [phone] ASAP.......He will know who you mean, failing that if you could maybe stick a note through the letter box to that effect....

Im working tomorrow but I start at 7am and dont finish till 5.30pm so Ill try and pop over at some point. I can just imagine the explanation, "hi, Im from the internet..."

I popped round after work tonight. Its a big warehouse type thing with what seems to be 2 halves, 1 locus, the far end is some other company. The door was locked but the shutters werent down on the door or window but nobody answered when I knocked, so Ive shoved a letter under their door with your contact details on it, hopefully something comes of it

Well, sorry to say Craig, I STILL have not had any communication from them....they haven't even sent me an invoice for the goods they sent me a couple of months ago.....

nothing much has changed there, the signs are still up and a small scaffold appeared on their end of the building last week but its always just been the same 2 cars sitting outside, and nobody ever seems to be doing anything with the scaffold, very odd.
