I wouldn't have thought Sikaflex 221 is the right stuff to use, its a ployurethane based Adhesive/Sealant. Get a proper Silicone Gasket sealant like red RTV, halfords may sell it.

Ace will get some silicone stuff today, a have some ployurethane based Adhesive/Sealant in the form of Hylomar AeroGrade gasket and jointing compound that I use on the RB199 engines in our tornado F3's, take it this stuff's not what I want then?

now you have me doubting myself - If you have Hylomar which you use on a Tornado engine, then I'm sure it'll be ok on a Cerb biggrin

The bits of gasket oozing out of my rocker covers looks very much lite RTV silicone.
