No not on the 4.7, its still nice & quiet on light throttle openings, so you can choose when to be loud & when not .... of course when you do put your foot down harder all hell breaks loose biggrin

As Grant3 said, low rumble when light on right foot but ready to roar when you need it!
You can always put the fuse back - Enjoy!

Yep. Have to agree even when fuse out you can be quiet when you want to be.

On a slightly diff topic I still trying to get used to the stares, thumbs up's, waves and points I get when I am out. smile

Has anyone wired the fuse through a hidden switch under the dash or steering column.

They you can have the full roar when required and not feel like a tit when you're in a quiet village or town smile

Not collecting my V8 till Saturday so no idea what its like just yet.

a few have had switches wired in...the service is offered by Works, dealers, specialists etc, so you can have quit or uncorked modes smile

personally, its not that loud even uncorked...just sounds like a meaty V8 ...the cork is to pass noise regs I think wink

Any idea how much it costs for the switch to be wired in?

I have been quoted over £300 which seems a bit expensive IMO.

depends on the labour rate of where you go I guess - Ive heard of people going to AM Works and paying £400

its a wire, a switch and a few hours labour ....at £150 an hour it soon mounts up ....at £50 ph your local family garage are going to be cheaper, if you trust them to drill holes in your Aston dashboard etc wink

Think I'll do it myself then.

In saying that, I would think that the "other" button on my garage door opener could actually be wired to a remote switch biggrin

I'll look into it.

I'm told that leaving the fuse out all the time can cause the butterfly valve to cease up.

I wired a remote for mine. It cost about £12.50 plus some wire-based tinkering but I like that sort of thing. smile
