2001 C200 Coupe, HELP!!
Discussion
Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice.
I purchased a C200 Coupe less than a year ago and there is significant rust to each of the wheel-arches, it only seemed to appear a few months ago and has got gradually worse. It is now at the stage where corroded areas break off!! I keep very good care of the car and fully wash and wax at least once a week, there doesnt seem to be anything I can do to prevent this???
I read a previous post and there was mention that Mercedes bodywork to this age of car was problematic and that they would look at it / fix it free of charge, is this still the case??? I'd be greatful of any information about this issue before I make a fool of myself at the dealership and ask them to fix it free of charge!!!
I'd like to know where I stand with this, if I do have to pay for work to be done, how much can I expect to shell out?? I know absolutely nothing about cars and thought I would seek advice from you guys before I get ripped off by the 'overly advancing salesmen' in my local dealership.
Many thanks in advance.
