What it's all about ......

After an hour or so cleaning and polishing the Tuscan this morning I finally brought it home a bug splattered mess after 200 miles of blissful driving around some of the most fantastic roads in Cheshire & North Wales. Cloudless sky so most of the butty chuckers were at the beach, got a sun burned face and massive grin from a perfect day, plus a sore arm from having to wave back at so many other drivers (plenty of Caterham / Westfields, classic & sports cars but only 2 TVR's ).
Chased down plenty of bikers and saw of several 'super' cars who tried to keep up, constant pointing, head turning, smiles and comments when passing through towns, plus people asking questions and wanting photographs by the car everywhere we stopped. Felt like a celebrity and lots of other cars were good enough to make way for safe overtaking.
Came back (via the tunnel of course
) through Liverpool city centre and felt sorry for the poor chap behind me in his band new, very expensive and quite nice looking Porsche convertible - as he never got a look
Everyone was too busy asking to hear the engine rev or rolling windows down to stare at the TVR ! Hope he wasn't too upset - maybe he will sell it and get a 'proper' sports car ....
Only drawback with such a buzz is the DIY & gardening chores are stacking up now as it's impossible to leave it sitting on the drive when the sun is out. Even turned down a holiday to USA for a European road trip instead. Just on 12 months of TVR ownership now so can anyone advise when the silly grin should wear off (barring engine failure) ??

Silly Grin : It won't ware off, get used to it...........LOL.
I'm still searching for my Tuscan replacement, and after the initial plan to go for a Sagaris, I think I may end up with a T350, and have some pennies left in the bank.
So looking forward to getting back into a TVR after being TVR-Less for almost four weeks.
The Peugeot diesel just dosn't put the same grin on my face, and people don't ask to be taken out for a spin.......LOL.

Hi Alan
The grin never goes
Hi Dean - that's what I was worried about. The V-Power receipts are piling up and there's only so much abuse I can give the company fuel card !
The grin never goes

Any tunnel runs planned for late July (Paris ?) ? Taking a mate for a trip round France & Spain so may as well give him the full experience ! Running out of people to hoon with up here and even the g/f is broken after yesterday's blast round the Horseshoe Pass !
