What oil should be used in the diff?

I had to remove the back plate on my diff due to a broken diff bush bracket bolt so now need to replace the oil.

go on dave hinns website and one of the downloadable documents (i think its the service one) it lists all the suitable fluids for the cerb,

i know the document only recomends mobil stuff but i cant remember the spec of it, sc something

(i would look for you but my documents are saved on my work pc)

The 'book' says.... Mobil SHC 80W 140 ID. 1.6 Litres.

Mobil SHC 80W 140 ID is no longer available, castrol do an equivilent I think

Thanks guys. For the time being I recycled the existing stuff but will put fresh in when I can get the right stuff! smile
