It's not so tough so, I'm in sunny Johannesburg. And I will get a day in lieu.

Fly back Friday night, and then straight off to holiday in France

Same. Public holidays are lumped in with our holiday allowance, so we have to actually book them off. And I keep forgetting

Not even a public holiday in Scotland, mind post offices and banks are shut, and there is me tinking we are part of the UK, sadly not it appears.
