Going to France this weekend and then.......

the end of my dip stick snaps off in the oil pan where it's staying at the moment as it's at the bottom of the pan going nowhere......we went out for a run yesterday and all was well, the scoops doing their job keeping under clip temps stable. . . . . got home with no problems, good oil pressure, water and oil temps. Went out to it this morning and there was a gap at the front clip to cockpit......the front mounting was waving around So out with the glassfibre, clean up the mount and throw a blob of glass at it.....don't do glassfibre.....anyone else had this problem??????





Consulation is that the weather for France looks good for the weekend..................

Both of my front hinge points have failed in that way and one of the rear.

Unless you get right to the root of the problem and replace or re weld the metal fittings I think your mod will break out again.

I guessed as much but it'll get me by for now, I'll go to a local ship yard later in the year to get both of them fixed.
