dogcam "no audio on playback"
Discussion
Ive just installed this
http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/dogcampro480.htm
I'm using it in conjuction with this
http://ec-deal.com/catalog/jxd-682-4m-1gb-digital-...
Ive got it all hooked up and can get video footage but there is no sound when you play it back through the dvr.
If i set it to record sound only it records sound!
Ive got the sound leads (red and white) on the AVI cable hooked up to the sound on the microphone through a splitter plug that came in the "dogcam" kit.
At the moment ive got the gain on the microphone on 100% till i get some sound and video done.
Anyone used a similar setup to me? and had this problem and solved it. Or could anyone offer any idea's?
I phoned dogcam but as you would expect the good folk there are also off for the bank holiday

double check all the lead connections...
Its too easy to get it slightly wrong without realising it- it took me ages to spot it when i 'lost audio'. now i leave the leads connected all the time (apart from the lead to the camcorder).
You might think everything looks right but I think you might surprise yourself...
Good luck
