Mk1 Punto Rattle
Discussion
My old shed has developed quite a bad rattle coming from the rear suspension. I assumed the shocks may have gone.
Took it to Kwik Fit (for my sins) who said the rear mounts and trailing arm had gone. Had a look at the trailing arm, turns out it was gone. So I got it replaced (not at Kwik Fit) along with a CV joint that needed doing.
Sum total is the rattling is still there, albeit not quite as bad, from the same side. Guy who did the car reckons its the rear suspension mounts, and i'm inclined to agree.
I've got to change the shocks, but i'm more concerned with the mounts. Any ideas what it could be? There's not obvious signs of corrosion, could have worked loose or a bush gone? Is it a difficult job?

n.b The MOT is due on the 11th, and it really needs to pass - I've just finished uni, cant afford a new car but need one for a job.
