Help!!

I'm quite worried, the past few days the 'Check Engine' display and buzzer has been sounding whilst out and about. It's weird though as it only happens every now and again, not every time I start the car.

Now it has stopped doing it, but every time I start the car the 'Service Engine Oil' warning comes on. I've checked the oil level and everything is fine........The car drives fine, isn't making any untoward noises of any sort either.
It has only just come back from Monkfish after it's 60,000 mile service so am dumbfounded into what's wrong......but i'm still obviously worried about it.

'Check Engine' may be relating to an O2 sensor fault. Mine stopped doing that when Monkfish replaced my headers (new O2 extension looms)

Phew, thought there was something going wrong under the hood.

Stig, thanks for the offer bud. I'm working all week but I could pop down on saturday if you're not doing anything? Other than that, if you do make it to the SW meet on Sunday I could meet up with you then?

Looks like I won't be making the meet on sunday now Stig, so another meet up on saturday would be good for me.

FAO Monkfish, How much would it cost to sort out the o2 sensor problem if thats what it turns out to be? Ta.

Performance pack?, quite a few BUCKS smile

I had the engine check codes and it turned out to be a dead battery in my key causing it, cheers Richard for the help on that by the way biggrin

I also got the check engine oil, so checked it manually then cleared it from the traip computer, as ive been told electrics arent the best on the Ro's

Sensor is £96.40, + the time taken to swap it out. If thats what it is?

It could ruin one of the cats couldn't it if it's giving false/innaccurate readings ?
