BMX meets trials, that is very impressive.

This guy is pretty good -- http://www.vimeo.com/4417448 -- riding a kids bike on purpose built ramps, but not too shabby at it.

He does look very good! however I race downhill bikes, downhillers will more often than not argue street riding like this doesn't require as much skill as it does to descend the likes of Ben Nevis in sub 5 minutes smile

Completely disagree..i am getting on a bit now, but i rode bmx, ramps and freestyle for 15 years, some of it sponsored to do exhibitions and the like. Also mountain bikes, plenty of cross country races around the midlands. Yes it does take a huge amount of balls and skill to go downhill fast. But, any descent rider would be right up there with maybe 6 months training. Ater all it is just going riding down a hill as fast as you can. Every one can do it to some degree. But, take skilled downhillers and take them to a vert ramp and not many would have the skill or know how just to 'drop in' from the top, never mind the skill and time it takes to learn and perfect the tricks. There is alot of natural ablitly in it too. Most people would never be able to 'learn' how to do it. Ahhhh...memories, best days of my life!!

Stewey i appreciate all type's of riding takes skill but I raced in the scottish squad in avalanche cups/british national level and can assure you after 7 years of doing it i think its silly that you suggest 6 months would get anyone to that level, previous to the downhilling i done dirtjumping and many of the downhillers i know have a similar background smile.

Heres a wee pic from a race last month... smile
