looking for someone in the Glasgow area to do some work on some of my old cars. Any guys on here any experience or people and numbers you could send on? Need some pipes replaced and system recharged on one and recharge on another.
any help apprciated

If you are brave saw advert on back of bus at weekend Kwikfit! if it does not run cooler your money back

Do the cars currently have R12 gas? If so I think this will severely limit the number of people who could do the work. If not and you don't mind a trip through to Dunfermline, I can put you in touch with somebody who would take good care of your cars.

I think the cars have been converted or at least the one needing most work has no gas in it nor has it had for some years!!

Automotive Services in Dunfermline is who I would suggest. Phone number is 01383 738077. It's my brother's garage. He does quite a bit of work on specialist cars and for a lot of the local dealers.

mentioned on another forum:-

Mark Henderson, Autokool, 07770 732325. Did my Boxster, 996 and a particularly problematical 1986 928 S2. If he can't manage it I suspect no-one can. Also does work for Motortune in shotts.

Mark @ Autokool is tending not to do cars now. He does most of his work on bigger stuff like coaches and lorries etc.

Still no harm in trying him though.....
