I have just re-discovered this game and spent about 6 hours straight yesterday...

It should be, the game is pretty scalable. and is not massively demanding being a polished up HL2 engine

Great game, haven't played it for a while though. I might dig it out if people fancy a game. I can host smooth 16 player games on my connection

I got the pc version only. I am a regular at boontex.net if anyone fancies a game with competent regulars

spent a hour or so on it last night. great fun but i'm crap at it. loads of people with lots of upgrates. anyone recommend a newbie server I can start getting used to it on

there are no upgrades there. they are sidegrades at best (just alternatives).

What class do you go for? I think the engineer or the medic offer a better learning curve than scout or spy personally. if you are not into support roles then pyro or demo are pretty good. soldier needs more skill to be effective, sniper is good fun but i lose patience by being sniped by opposing snipers or backstabbed by spies. Heavy is massively fun if you are being healed by a medic, but otherwise you are just sniper/spy fodder

i've like the chap with the huge gun. and medic. all i've done so far. how do I add mates? i'm remal on steam by the by

I dug this out for a few games over the weekend, I'd almost forgotten how good it was.

I'm on the XB 360 though (GT: Omega Point if anyone wants a game some time).
