The last two releases (SBK08 and Moto GP 08) where both very disappointing with regards to the online ability, no championships online and leader boards that only updated in single race ranked rooms.
According to the reviews it appears that these issues have now been sorted out for SBK 09 that gets released on Friday. If any of you enjoy racing games I would strongly suggest that you at least rent it and see how much fun racing is on two wheels online.
I enjoy Forza and Race Pro but for all out racing bikes do it for me every time.

I must say, I've Tried the SB[b]C[\b](?)09 demo and found the racing to be very very good. Not really enough content on the demo, only one track. One of the last corners (a sharp right->left) seems very difficult to take... and I know that you can manhandle a bike faster than the game lets you.
One thing I dislike is the lack of modifications you can make ona bike game as opposed to a car orientated game.
