...they should work over here, right?

I want to buy a PC game from Amazon, but it's US software. Although it does say its XP compatible (mine's Vista if that matters). Will I have trouble installing/palying it?

Should be fine, I'd check with the publishers website for Windows compatibility though...

Well it says XP, so it can't be too bad. Plus it's only a couple of quid + delivery, so no harm in giving it a bash.

Just a word of caution, I did have a problem with Quake II which refused to install because my version of Windows 2000 wasn't from the UK (and yes I had it set to UK keyboard/ time zone etc. wink ) ...but that may well have been a 2000 issue?

Should be fine, just remember if they do separate patches for US/Europe versions of the game you download the correct one smile
