Sounds good, from the Le Mans page there are a lot of TVR's on that crossing so should be a fun drive down. I have speedchills passes and going to camp nearby with TC and others, welcome to tag on.

Shame you cant make it this year David. Was an excellent drive down last year.

Enjoying the new wheels so far, although not without teething problems.......It;s a TVR I guess

Sounds brilliant. After going in Pete's Tuscan I now realise what all the fuss is about.

It must be quite a change from the Porsche though? I know your 993 was a bit hardcore, but still, I've not been in another car that feels as beast-like as a Tuscan.

You should hear it. After following it for 2 hrs on Sunday I thought someone had put an electric motor in my car as all I could hear was the pops and bangs from infront of me.

As for Le Mans I'm driving that way on the Friday night but sadly missing it this year as I'm
going straight on as you lot will go right towards Rouen as I'll be heading to the south coast.

I thought you'd taken David's crossing? If so, you sure you've got the days right as Plan A was a Wednesday departure?? wobble

Hi Greg.

Just to see if you are interested, I have a spare LD lines ferry ticket for the Wednesday
morning fast ferry crossing, I think some of the guys on this thread (colin & Al) or on the same ferry
if you still havent booked yet.

cheers Stuart.

I and a large(ish) group are heading down on Thursday morning. Staying with Team Langoustine although we have a dedicated Petrolhead Nirvana spot (read additional beer, mayhem and commando games). Ferry is at the hideously early time of 7.00am so meeting at Maidstone services at 6.00.

I do know there are passenger seats free (including in my car - whatever it happens to be on the morning)

Yes took David's ticket, but I'm working wednesday, but was able to ammend it for Thursday morning.

Nancy will look out for you at the ferry terminal then, we are going over at 7am too, then convoying down with whoever is there too.

Sorry for being vague this morning coffee(it was way too early on a Sunday!), but thank you for helping with my luggage. Pretty set on taking the Atom - will only change my mind if it looks like it is going to chuck it down the whole way there (and even then I have waterproofs). We have a convoy of 15 cars so you are welcome to stick with us for the journey down (as is anyone else going on the stupidly early ferry).

No probs with the luggage, give me a pm and a number and we can arrange times etc. Will prob then hang on with your convoy as its always more fun that way smile
