Alloy wheel refurb - Hull area
Discussion
I had my split rims on my mini done by a guy in Hull. Very good job he did too. All he does is wheel refurbs so he knows what he is doing and has all the kit to do them right.
I had mine split, centers and inners powdercoated in black and the rims mirror polished.
They are called 'Wheel Em In' and are located near Smith+Nephew.
Ask for Shane and he will sort you out a nice price.

£300 sounds reasonable for stripping and rebuilding 4 X 2pc rims.
There is a guy in Bishop Thorpe near York who does does wheels, sure somebody will have his details.

Ian Jemison are good, but they don't do any metallics on their powder coats, so no good for the 108's.
Another issue with the 108's is that once repaired, they will likely start to fail again, easily with any face nicks, or off the backs, within 18 months they will be 'on their way' again
Ian Jemison mentioned that he has lots of requests/warranty work on these polished rim types of wheels... they just fail constantly, even on very new cars (hence the warranty work)
I've got some 107's to go on mine, and will be DIY sorting my 108's before selling them on (getting inners powder coated cheap, but will do the polishing and lacquering the outers myself (easy once inner is removed) for a nice little profit.
Look great when perfect, but cost alot to get perfect, and don't stay it long
