Halfords do a variety of colours (brush paint). I would suggest just painting them and rubing off the paint from the raised lettering.

Effective and not too Max Power;)

You can buy caliper paint which takes the temperature -try demon tweaks. I have red calipers on my red 400SE - looked great

Yes, they do proper caliper paint. Never tried it but most of their stuff is OK.

I'm not sure that powder coating would stand up to hard use and high temperatures.

Best caliper paint I have used was hammerite smooth red, the colour was very good and lasted over 3 years on my 300zx with some serious heat at times (was running 503bhp) would probably still look good now but sold her to a mate who put her in a hedge within 2 months

There is a guy on ebay that sells good caliper paint I think he is called 'big hitter' I used it for my calipers.....

I know it does not show the calipers in the best condition but it gives you an idea of colour.

Just done mine. I sprayed them Matt Black - lots of coats - and then painted the AP in yellow hammerite (not the easiest task to get perfect).

Not the most exciting combination of colours, but I wanted to them to look understated (unusual idea for brake calipers I think? smile ).

Painted mine yellow - accentuated small 4.2 discs so upgraded to 4.5 discs and callipers - painted them yellow - still accentuated (to my mind) that they didn't fill the wheel that well - painted them all back to black again and happy with it again now. Shouldn't have touched a thing hehe

I appreciate they're not Cerb calipers, but I had the ones on the Mondeo remanufactured by www.biggred.co.uk (new seals, pistons and coated).

Certainly seem to be wearing well. smile

TC - what did you need to upgrade the disks/calipers? I assume you went from 291 to 304mm? Is it just the bigger disks/bells and a different caliper mount. Did you use your existing calipers?
