cooper.boot lid

The boot lid on my 06 cooper won't stay closed. When you push it down it won't engage the latch. Any ideas where to start lookng ?

Our 03 Cooper was really bad when we bought it new - the dealer adjusted it but it still feels as though it only just catches.
It does lock properly but closes with a soft sigh rather than a proper thud.

Had the same problem with the glove box lid, which had to be replaced as it kept flopping open - should have gone to Chubb!!

It shouldn't be more than a quick adjustment by someone who knows but that isn't me I'm afraid.
