Hi Guys,

I need somewhere near to Reading that I can trust to sort out my steering tracking.

I had two new tyres fitted at Kwik Fit a few months ago, and becuase the steering was slightly out asked them to do a tracking check. Their little Polish man did set the tracking, I watched him and he seemed to line everything up.

Of course, too good to be true, I got in the car afterwards and it's always pulled slightly to the right since, I have to sit with the steering wheel to the left all the time.

So since my MOT, it seems that the fronts are sitting at 5mm now, but with the inner edges at 1mm, so i need to get it sorted properly.

Can anyone reccomend someone in or around Reading that can actually set the steering up properly?

Thanks all.

I've always been happy with the service from Lancaster's in Reading.

A friend says there is a very good Jaguar independent just opposite them, sorry I can't remember their name. They sorted his gearbox after another Jag specialist had been messing around with it for weeks.

These day's I tend to use Racinggreen cars to sort my X300.

NormanD and others on here swear by TL Jaguar Ltd - 0118 973-7779

No problems with the general service from Lancaster, they just refused to check the tracking insisting I needed 2 new tyres fitted first. And they were generally full of st.

Ahhh... I did actually see the ones near Lancaster, but they looked to be a bit more 'old school'. I think they moved in the last year or so, used to be in the centre of Reading near MOTEST. Assuming it is the same they tend to deal with the older Jags and Rollers and similar stuff. Good move on their part though, to set themselves up almost at the exit from the main Jaguar Dealership in town biggrin

Looks like I'll need to give TL Jaguar a ring and see if they can do it properly.
