Hi, myself and a couple of friends have been running a local car club for sometime now, and we've recently agreed and set up a new meet open to all types of car nuts and petrol heads alike

Its going to be a weekly meet at the six hills hotel on the A46 meeting at about half 7 on thursday evenings, formally the Durham Ox to those who remember that far back!!

it would be great if some of you could come along and show your cars off, its also a chance to meet plenty of new people and have a good night!

Thanks for the invitation, I'll pop over at some point (depends where I'm working etc).

For anyone that doesn't know, it's about 10 miles north of Leicester, on the left hand side and is a large mock tudor hotel / pub with car parking at the rear.

There is no village there, just a garage on the opposite side of the road.

On Tuesdays it hosts a major gathering of bikes (maybe 400?) and you can get occasional police presence soemweher on the A46.

Rob.

I might pop along next week/week after as I'm only about 5 mins away (although I may just make it a long diversion to get there. smile )

I had my wedding reception at that dump some 20 years ago , the debacle of a wedding reception that ensued was nothing if not an accurate portent of things to come....

Cheers,

Tony
