Evening all,

Anyone know where I can source a v8s brake servo. I think the part number is Lucas PSA328, but I can't find one advertised on the net.

Mine is rusted through frown

Any ideas,

Z

Clever Trevor sells them, or you could try to track down the original Ford donor (I forget, was it Escort or Fiesta?).

IIRC the V8S has the ford set up as did my S3. The master cylinder is from a Ford Fiesta Mk 3 XR2i and the servo is from any Ford Fiesta Mk3 - I believe all servos are the same - and cost new about £120+vat, second hand in good condition about £10.

The second hand one I got was unmarked and must have been recent replacement. Also I've just done the change see www.gbsportscar.com for the "how to thread", takes about 2 hours tops

This looks like the right one to me - but buyer beware and all that.

Chris,

That's definately not the "right" one, although it may work. The front studs and vaccum pipe connection look right, but it is the length of the operating rod and the position of the fours studs on the side you can't see that matter, because they can change the orientation of the servo in the engine bay.

Fiesta Mk 3 is what you need

See this definitive thread

That one looks good but different shape to shell but that could just be a change in supplier. This is my old one for comparison

Any sign of a job yet Chris?
