The house I'm just about to buy is in dire need of a new bathroom, I've been browsing at bathroom company catalogues but thought some photos of actual bathrooms might give me some ideas.

Over to you all.

Mine's pretty small, about 7ft square, but ideas for tiles and fittings etc can be transposed from larger rooms, so size really isn't an issue for the photos.

This is mine, also about 7ft square (don't start the argument about 7ft square and 7 square ft!)

Very nice but I'd have to swap that bottle trap for something like this.

I shall be interested in this thread - have a shower room and bathroom to rip out and do....why would you paint tiles mint green and the walls pink? why? it's insane.

It's quite tricky to take photos of a bathroom!
Here's ours, it has a mirror and light above the basin now though.

If you're looking for ideas.....

My dad made a nice touch when he re-did his bathroom a few years ago. Waterproof speakers in the ceiling of the shower. They're linked into a stereo in the next room. It's a nice touch for radio/music in the shower.

Very cheap aswell at about £30 a pop. Waterproof TVs worked out much more expensive!

Hi mate it's a mix & match. WC & sink are by Carlyle, bath is a 1900 x 900 11-jet by Saninova. Shower is a 900*900 with bodyjets & radio also by Carlyle. Try your local plumbers merchants & see if they deal with Frontline & ask if you can order through them for a bit of discount. Frontline bathrooms are on the net but not sure if you can order direct. I'm trade so got it a bit cheaper than retail (think it was approx £1500 for the lot including taps). Agree with the chrome bottle trap comment - it's on my list of things to do - you're not my mrs are youlaugh

Avoid B&Q etc - you'll pay far more for less.

huge floor tiles used in a relatively small area (12 x 7) made it feel much larger, £1500 all fleabay sourced but designer brands.
