Changing the water temp sensor - avoiding airlocks?

Following on from my thread earlier this week I'm going to pick up a new water temp sensor from Castle tomorrow. I know to fit I need to remove the air box and that it's the front facing of the 2 senders under the inlets.
Presumably it just unscrews?

Someone also mentioned to be careful I don't create an airlock whilst doing this, how can I ensure this doesn't happen? I'd assumed it was simply unscrew old, fit new and done?

Correct. Water will dribble out when you remove it (well it should unless you have a mega airlock!). Just have the new one in your other hand and screw it in as quickly as possible. If you push the new one into the hole as water is coming out you should minimize the chances of an airlock. Keep the cap on the coolant tank/tower as this will slow the seepage. Clean and tighten the contacts before refitting the wire (this may be your problem anyway).

Sorry been away yesterday but the description given above is a prety good way of doing it.
