Jag XJS Breaking

I have a 4.0 series 2 XJS Auto. Its been in my garage now for a while now. I wa sthinking of selling it with a full MOT but have just been told that it needs a grand spending on it (tyre, rear discs, welding underneath).

The body is good, the engine and gearbox strong the interior is excellent in tan leather. Everything works, elec seats etc etc (not sure about the aircon.

So now I have a conundrum, do I spend the money and sell it, do I keep it and wait for prices to rise (!!!) or do I sell it now.

Love the car but new baby and work have diminished my time for a third car.

May be worth more in parts

Last year I purchased an damaged XKR for the Recaro seats, it also had Brembo's and HID headlights
Purchasing them via breakers would have cost the same as the car.

The rest I split down and sold on to Club members and eBay, £££ in

Thanks for that. That's what I would have guessed but unfortunately I dont have the time.

May well be left until things calm down a bit
