Geometry/Alignment recommendations around Aberdeen
Discussion
Since putting new front tyres on my boxster I am actually less confident in it's handling than I was before I spent £200. They're Conti 2 "N" rated [same as before and same as the rears] and the pressure is at the recommended figure. I'm thinking maybe it needs a good alignment or geometry check. Is there a trusty local you can recommend?

Remember it'll take a while for the tyres to bed in. I had some new Dunlops on the front and geo at Westhill garage, who did a good job, but I was experiencing a lot of understeer until about a week ago. Now it's the dogs..........
Hmmm, good point. It's been years since I've had to put new tyres on a car. I'll give it a wee while and if all is still not well maybe I'll speak to Laws. The floatiness and weak turn-in are doing my head in right now.Sandy59 said:
I take it you're not considering T&C Porsche ??
Might not be as painful as you might think !!
Hmmm we were quoted £230 (no doubt VAT excluded) for a geometry check (the car had a front wheelbearing replaced so they recommended a geometry check).....this was for a Cayenne though. The hourly rate for Cayenne mechanic/technician/brain surgeon(?) is £99 (plus VAT of course)! Might not be as painful as you might think !!
