Only joking, no engine fires.....yet
Took the car out with my mate today (has a gorgeous Lancia ZAGATO) - he recommended taking it to his mate so I can try and sort out my bloody handbrake (find out if snapped or slipped)
5 minutes into the journey and I am showing him what a fantastic car this is. Remember we are in Italy and he has never seen a TVR before, yet alone been in one!
Get down the road and suddenly steam everywhere. Bugger.
Limped into the garage - they sorted me out quickly - new hose and I am fixed.
Got the car on the ramp to find the cable has indeed snapped. Nightmare to fix, everything has to come off, even rear anti roll bar!
I am going to park in gear for a bit I think.......!
Also saw a 66 Lancia Flaminia Touring 2.8 convertible YUM

gutted for you mate. hope you get it sorted soon. don't forget, if you want to get a handbrake cable, Myself and others would be happy to order one for you and ship it over.
I dont see why you have to take the anti roll bar off though. the propshaft passes it just but it does need a little persusion.
