Car inspection

Hi,


Possibly buying a car from an old friend. He lives near Exmouth and before i buy i would like to have the car inspected. Any body know someone reasonably local who would be up to the task.
I want someone who knows the cars and what to look for ideally, not just the AA guy!!!
I see no reason why the car cannot be driven to a location within an hour or so from there i suppose.
