Hard one to call, prices are all over the shop.

I would say with the media pack, if it is mint then maybe £12k at the moment??

There are cars on BMW AUC for £13k, maybe be able to haggle a grand off as the V8s are not exactly the most sort after, even though they are only around 4mpg off the 535d, but they do have 50k miles on them, but then also have a years full BMW warranty as well.

The 37k miles will help it, but lack of warranty may concern you or may not??

If you could get it for £10-11k then I think it would be a good buy.

Thanks for the advise. It has done 48k though. I'm thinking £8k, big thirsty V8 engine especially with the way oil prices seem to be going

What has he offered it to you for??

I reckon a dealer will pay £10k for that car, they are desperate for stock and a well specced 545i on a main dealer forecourt at £12950 will always look good and sell quickly.

They do sell, before I bought the 3.2 Quattro Avant I tried to buy a couple of 545i tourings and all went within a couple of days, same with E500s, missed 3, all sold within a day or two.
People tend to click onto the fact that the 523i is only 2 mpg better, usually has crap spec and is normally about the same price, it makes the 545i a no brainer.

48k is below average miles on a 6 year old car though.
