Had to happen eventually but to lose this early to that opponent really is a surprise. I don't mean any disrespect to Soderling when I say that but I suspect Nadal would expect to beat him on clay even if he (Nadal) was having a bit of an off-day.However, others in the draw must be looking at that result and thinking opportunity knocks! The person who must be thinking he's got his REALLY big chance to finally win the French has to be Federer but he's been far from convincing so far and is lucky to be still in the tournament IMO; on the other hand I thought Murray looked quite impressive today though........!!
