Not wedge related but....

I'm struggling with this so knowing how useful the wedge community are :

I need a piece of threaded tube with 3/4" UNC (oil filter size) thread on it, the reason is I've taken the ford oil to water cooler off my (tweaked) TD motor and I am trying to replace it with a Mocal sandwich plate BUT the bolt the mounts the Ford cooler is Male on both ends (and far too long to fit the Mocal) the Mocal bolt is male on the filter end and female on the oil pump end so I need a section of threaded pipe to turn the female bit into a male bit (ooo errr..)

I've tried my local Nut 'n bolt supplier for a suitable bolt that I could drill the centre out of but they can't match the thread !

Anyone suggest anything as I've drawn a blank trying to source a suitable plumbing fitting.

Best goto a hydrolic specialist. take them both parts and ask them to make you a hose to fit with the right ends on.
