Hi,

Would you like to bring your classic TVR to a couple of charity gatherings we have organised in the south west forum?

  • The Raleigh Rally, Sherborne Castle on Sunday 21st June
  • Motors at the Manor, Kingston Lacy on Sunday 19th July
We are hoping to raise some money for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, whilst having a good day out including lunch / picnic and a run throught the Dorset countryside.

I would really like some Ms, Tuscans, Griffiths, Vixens, Granturas, etc to come.

The promo website for these PH events is:

The main thread on PH is:

Thanks. biggrin

Had email off you earlier this week. We would have come but I haven't got my vixen anymore.
Although We've got a rather shabby 1800s(but it hasn't been on the road since 1989 !)
Sorry, but hope it all goes well.

Update

The event on Sunday at Sherborne Castle was attended by about 120 cars and raised almost £700 for the Air Ambulance. It costs £3500 per day to keep the ambulance flying, so this money is very sorely needed.

Thread with lots of pictures

After the main meeting we visited the Air Ambulance base to meet the crew. Whilst there we conducted a sound test to see who was noisiest - 1st was Macey in his TVR Tuscan (115db), who won the bottle of wine and Noisy Bugger trophy; 2nd was Foundy's Ferrari (113db) and joint 3rd was Duesey's vintage Lagonda and Chimtvr's Corvette (112db).

We also took pictures of our cars around the helicopter and the crew were kind enough to answer some of our questions, e.g.

Due to advancing time, the countryside drive suffered but a number of us made the trip down to the coast:

Hope you can make it!
