Todays the start of my on call stint. Next day off is the Weds before Le Mans when I will be loading up the car the annual trip. Can't wait!!

What are you guys looking forwards to the most?? For me it must be the trip down and the noise throughout the race

Seriously though, I'm looking forward to knowing a little bit more about where to go and what goes on, so will hopefully get a lot more out of it.

I've never been to Le Mans before and I'm just so excited about the whole thing that I might actually explode before then. But if I do survive the bits I'm most excited about are the drive down with stickers all over my car and watching the racers flying by in the dark (and getting some good photos of it all, too).

Oh, and hello by the way. I read the forum daily but never post anything...

It's almost here! My first time and I can't wait.

We're on the St Malo overnight crossing on Wednesday night and getting there for early Thursday.

Looking forward to everything - My first opportunity to go down with my mate (I'm now 18 TF can drive across the channel!) and wanted to do it for years!

The bits I'm mostly looking forward to -

• Leaving my house at 2am on Thursday Morning for 5am Ferry
• The fry up on the ferry
• Car spotting on the route down! (If you spot me then give us a wave
• The whole experience across the weekend
• The noise and atmosphere
• Meeting many new and like minded people!

Well I think that's just about everything bar the journey back

this will be my 2nd year and i cannot wait, it's all i've been thinking about since last year.
setting off from Lincoln at 02:30 for the 0800 dover ferry on wednesday.

This year we are having a Back To Basics theme. So it won't be so much a theme because there won't be loads of stickers, shirts, campsite paraphernalia (sp?) etc to bother with.
The lead up has been completely hassle free as there's been no stuff to organise.

I'm looking forward to Team Peach Melba getting together again and meeting the guys I only ever get to see at Le Mans.
It was all feeling rather over done, and they do say its the simple things in life that are the best so I'm really looking forward to the racing and a few beers with friends. How good does that sound.

Looking forward to (hopefully) an epic race and a good showing by the british teams and drivers.

We're "only" going down on Thursday, early, this year.. A little later than normal, but hopefully this
will only distil the race weekend feeling.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAA!! I am soooo excited! Spent the weekend fixing bits on my car, some more to do this week. Stickers on the way, last years DVD to watch, things to pack and find. Yesterday we trail ran our 10 man tent and it went very nicely. Just need a spot of good weather (not 33 degrees please!) and then we are set.

Looking forward to the classic cars on the Saturday morning so much.
