RS4 - Exhaust

Hi,

I have finally decided on an RS4 - have found a couple of lovely low mileage examples on 06/07 plates.

I am a bit of a noise junky - i dont want a chavtastic raw ala the many corsa, fiesta, saxo's you see.

I like the additional noise from pressing the sports button but wouldnt want to continually drive around with everything in that mode.

I have heard that you can weld it open to cause the exhaust note to be like this in all modes.

A) where is the best place to get this done? I live in berks
B) what is the rough cost?
C) does this mean i cant get it covered under warranty and would i be better off paying for a full Miltek system instead?

I want a purr and a few pops under heavy acceleration, changing down gears etc.

Pretty simple job which I did on my S4 before it got the full Milltek treatment.
