Hello all,

It's been a while since iv'e been in the loop but after 4 long long months the pug, which blew up during a January Pistonheads meet has had a heart transplant and I am due to pick it up this week. The alarm/immobiliser has been removed in the process due to shoddy wiring.

Anyone know a good place to buy and fit from as I need it for my insurance asap and to save it from the thieving Reading pikeys!

Cheers, Tim.

Snap! I'm in a similar situation with the Sigma alarm on my mi16. I'm gonna try to tackle it this weekend (I think i buggered it up when I took the interior light out) but i'm the first to admit I hate auto-electrics so may end up looking for a decent fitter near Reading. I know there's a place on Basingstoke Road, up near Rose Kiln Lane and the large Ford dealer, not been in before though.

If I do then i'll let you know if I find anyone, might also be worth asking for a discount if we could give them 2 cars (although the alarms would most likely be different, i'd hope they might be open to a saving for having two 205's in at the same time!)

OT - what engine have you put in?

Hey,

Haha yeah I dispise auto electronics as well so thought i'd pay for someone to do it properly. I think it's called John Kleiss or something on the basingstoke road but the website is "under construction". I'll keep my eye out as well for places and let you know. A discount would be nice - 2 pugs at one time must warrant something!

As for the engine swap it's a gti6 engine from a xsara, yet to drive it but its already costing me a fortunein insurance so need the alarm haha. Just had a look at your car, very nice indeed! Must be very quick!
