Just seen this at E3......a quick video and a few details......it looks awesome.

400 Cars
Proper Accidents (i.e. Rolling cars)
Not much news on tracks yet, but looked like they had some sort of italian mountain town street track, and a forest type road track.
Looked like there was still only 8 cars in a race
Editor looks promising, pretty much the same thing but with much more objects and shapes to truely get unique paint schemes on the go.
OCTOBER 09 is the release date.

Hopefully during the E3 week they'll release a bit more info. I hope they up the lobby past 8 cars, thats the one main thing I want to see........although the video footage of the crashes looked awsesome!!!
