Sir Stirling Moss SLR

Hi all,
I had the pleasure of seeing the Mclaren SLR Stirling Moss in Cheddar on Saturday.
What a motor, unbelievable. It's just a shame it was a fleeting glance through the curry house'e window!
Anyone know who it could have been?

Ha that was me just out for a quick blast. I rarely get to drive the SLR as i'm often out of the country doing million pound deals with foreign arms suppliers.

I too am amazed, as I didn't think they were even being road-tested at the moment, especially not being driven through populated areas?

Fair play to you if it was one, as i haven't even seen one at any shows. I live about 5 mins from the Mclaren plant in Woking, and haven't seen or heard anything from there, but as i understand it, they aren't being built there at the moment are they?

Saw one of these going the other way on the M3 near Woking on Sunday.

It was deffinately a SLR Moss.
As soon as I saw it I knew what it was. According to the press release in December it was a June 09 release. Also you had to have an SLR to buy one in the first place. I haven't a clue who has one of those in Somerset!
I was speachless for the rest of the night and staring out of the curry house window hoping to get a return look, but i reckon he must have gone up the Gorge. Imagine the sound of that off the cliff faces
